Leveraged Buyouts have a lot of questions tied them up with. When I was reading LBOs in Alternative Investments, I had several questions raising in my mind. Obviously it isn't an easy process but through trenching like its done in CDOs or CMOs, investors can invest in a diversified fund which further provides leverage to companies to that extent which seems quite unorthodox. This story does not answer those questions but it does highlight some issues tied up with LBOs.
